"The Rainbow Coffee is a collaboration between LLH (The Norwegian LGBT Organisation), coffee roaster Solberg & Hansen and Anti in support of LLH´s Principle 6 campaign. The campaign is launched in connection with the winter Olympics in Russia and aims to raise awareness of the injustice and discrimination the gay community face in Russia.

Our design  is based on the rainbow flag, which is a common symbol in the gay community. The colours of the rainbow are blending together, a symbol of how differences between people matter less and how far we´ve come in many parts of the world when it comes to equality. Still, the flag is torn and damaged, a symbol of the ongoing battle for basic human rights. “

"Feel The Nature, Feel The Form! Natural forms is the best way to show naturalness of product. You need to have only form that to understand what is inside of package. Honey must looks as honey. That is why this package is so simple and clean. You have to enjoy the smell and taste of Honey. Nothing more should not bother you."

The moment he took a pencil and drew something on the wall that later on turned out to be a car, his design career was started. Then he swapped a pencil for a spray paint and cars were drawn not only inside his house but also on city streets. Afterwards, he found practical use for his skills and worked for a student newspaper as an illustrator while studying tourist management. Career in that field ended before it even started and Maxim decided to become a designer. He prefers working in silence and to have his work done to satisfy the highest standards. He likes the sun and snow, coffee and ice-cream

"THE BIRDS of Lars Beller Fjetland started out as leftover wood or ignored trash, but has been turned into desired pieces of «feel-good woodcraft». Each bird is slightly different, and its species is determined by the material collected. To follow up on the philosophy that trash is a misplaced resource, we made proposals where every element of the packaging will be made from recycled materials, together with the illustrative story of the bird´s «past life».

Javas Lehn Studio   |   http://javaslehnstudio.com

"We partnered with a new cold-pressed juice concept in Brooklyn to create a new brand from the ground up. We started by developing a brand idea to convey the ethos that made their juice special: less is more. Inspired by this contradiction we named the brand Tiny Empire, alluding to the idea of something as simple as small-batch juice powering New Yorkers to do big things. With that as our platform, we went to work expressing that idea at every consumer touchpoint—from identity and visual system to retail and online presence."

Javas Lehn Studio is a multidisciplinary design practice based in New York City. We work with a diverse range of clients across the arts, fashion and lifestyle sectors. For each, we employ a bespoke design process with a focus on collaboration and craft, merging traditional design practice with innovative visual and collaborative tools. We work across the latitudes of refinement and innovation to discover and create solutions of distinction.

Esther Li   |   http://estherlidesign.com

"Ambivert is a hypothetical brand that produces handmade items for an Ambivert. Ambivert products are "products for people who want to be alone but also sometimes want to be around people except for those times when they want both and cannot function". All the products come in sets of 3, so there is a product for when an ambivert is feeling introverted, extroverted or both.

The logo follows this idea of a set of 3 and is made up of the letters A, E and I for ambivert, extrovert and introvert. It also is a face expressing the emotion of the ambivert and is flexible depending on emotion. The design of the packaging is always based on a 3 x 3 grid, continuing the theme of three’s. The packaging itself is meant to feel special and luxurious while still handmade and a little more tactile, especially with the string closure.”

Esther Li is a Senior studying Communications Design at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She has participated in internships at Control Group, Mother NY, Sagmeister & Walsh and is currently interning at Roandco Studio. Apart from design she is also a figure skater and a diehard Patriots fan.

"House of Vnholy is a design studio led by Matthew Adey and specialising in the creation of sets and lighting for theatre and performance, as well as custom built environments and objects. The studio’s exploration of the darker side of the arts informed the design, which takes inspiration from the geometric shapes of the Bauhaus and the contrast of light and shade. The 1930’s German typeface Neuzeit Grotesk was given a contemporary update and the initials stacked to reference the circle, square and triangle that make up the flexible grid pattern, repeated across silver-foiled 700gsm business cards and website components."

Ross is a creative director and designer based in Melbourne, Australia. He enjoys working on a wide range of projects, spanning art direction, identity/branding, illustration, editorial, and web design.
